HOTELcert is the result of a quality scheme. This mark certifies the quality of customer services that are not evaluated by the current hotel classification.
HOTELcert is a trademark registered by AFNOR Group.
The reference system uses 622 criteria that can be applied to all hotel.
An incognito guest makes a two-part evaluation:
- The hotel services are checked from telephone booking through to payment of the bill and departure.
- The visitor checks how customer complaints are dealt with, and other documentary matters.
A follow-up audit is carried out every 18 months to ensure that the certified hotel is always up to standard.
